ABOUT DR. ERICA LEE (she/her)
Welcome.
I am a Harvard and Brown trained, board certified child and adult psychiatrist and psychotherapist. I created this private practice to give patients and families the time, continuity, and depth of care they deserve, especially those who've felt too complex or too easily overlooked elsewhere. I also consult to primary care physicians affiliated with the New York Hotel and Gaming Trades Council Employee Benefits Fund. I often provide expert commentary and education on mental health for schools, parent groups, and media.
I became a psychiatrist after working for over a decade in hospital-based mental healthcare. I have advocated for my patients and for the mental health of physicians and other healthcare workers through media commentary, labor organizing, and academic research. In addition to advanced psychopharmacology training and medical training, I have expertise in many evidence based psychotherapies, and have additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). My approach is warm, relational, and attachment-informed.
